It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Lee Head on October 4, 2023 in Syracuse NY. John was born on February 14, 1975 in Anderson SC to Loretta and Lee Head. He is survived by his four siblings ; Amy (Luther) , Tissie (Bill) , Will (Shauna) , and Sonya. Also survived by his 10 nieces and nephews. 

John was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was always the life of the party and had a contagious laugh that could light up any room. He was a passionate traveler who loved to explore the world and experience different cultures. John was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family when having the chance to.

A celebration of John's life will be held on October 10th, 2023, at Lyncourt Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Syracuse City Mission or the American Cancer Society, causes that were close to John's heart.
