We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of John Duplantier, who left us on February 9, 2025, in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Born on July 31, 1975, to Kenneth Duplantier and Gwendolyn Wilkins, John was a beloved husband to Sheila Duplantier, whom he married in the year 10. Together, they shared six wonderful children: Alicia, Shavonne, Shannon, Nadiya, Crishana, and Jasmine.

John was a proud graduate of Baltimore City Public Schools high school, class of 1993. He worked as a dedicated truck driver with a CDL and enjoyed spending his free time working on cars. His passion for fixing and maintaining vehicles was a source of joy for him.

With a contagious sense of humor and a genuine love for life, John touched the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and his unwavering love for his family.

Although he may be gone, John's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, John Duplantier, you will be dearly missed.
