John J Sanders, Sr., age 70, of Charleston Sc, passed away March 15, 2019. He was born June 23, 1948, in Baxley Ga. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service. He later owned and operated Drew's Company and was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. John loved the razorbacks and enjoyed sports. John was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. He was preceded in death by his sons , John J Sanders, Jr  John J Sanders II Daughters Anige Ravanel Johndell Sanders .He is survived by  ten grandchildren,four great grandchildren. Private services were held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendly Chapel or Lakewood United Methodist Church.
