He was married to Mary Elizabeth Walk King for 71 years. They have one daughter, Carol (Roy) Rice of Bonita Springs, Florida, grandson Scott (Jen) Rice of Denver, Colorado, granddaughter Jennifer (John) Ashford of Naples, Florida, great grandchildren, Gavin and Lauren Rice and Mary and Emily Ashford. He is also survived by a sister, Ann Martin (Marvin) Davis of Palmyra, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3 at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home 9231 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33919 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Friday November 4, at Cypress Lake United Methodist Church , 8570 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33919 at 11:00 a.m. . Interment will be in Palmyra, Indiana.
