BoyleNaples, FLJohn Edward Boyle, 84, died peacefully, surrounded by family, in Naples, Florida on Tuesday, May 09, 2017.John is survived by his wife, Sterling Rutherford Boyle; five children, Noreen Boyle Price of Naples, FL, Peggy Boyle Johnson (Thomas Johnson) of Naples, FL, John Boyle Jr (Donna Boyle) of Virginia Beach, VA, Edward Boyle (Dawn Boyle) of Minnetonka, MN and Kathleen Boyle Drucks (David Drucks) of Naples, FL; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Catherine Abel McGuire, and Nora Trant Boyle, his longtime wife, who welcomed him into eternity on Tuesday as he passed. John was born on Sunday, February 19, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Catherine and Edward Boyle. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from The University of Pittsburgh, served in the US Army, and went on to become a long-time pharmaceutical sales executive for Hoffmann La Roche. A loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he always considered Pittsburgh home.He was a witty, dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be missed immensely.A viewing will be held for family members and friends on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 6-8pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul D'Angelo will begin at 10am, Friday, May 12, 2017 at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 625 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108.
