John Bernard Motichek, Jr. passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 in Slidell, LA. He was born on July 9, 1937 in Madisonville, LA to the late John Bernard Motichek, Sr. and Beatrice Heider Motichek. John is survived by his beloved wife, Susie Adams Motichek. He was the loving father of Jamie Lynn Culligan (Jeremy). John was the proud grandfather of Lillian Anderson and Logan Culligan. He was the brother of Sylvia Cannon (Steve), Wayne Motichek, Betty Conejo (Joseph), Carlos Motichek (Claire), Gregory Motichek, Juanita Hern(Sam), and the late Stephen Motichek. He was the nephew of Theresa Heider. John will be dearly missed by his friend and cousin, Aaron Blackwell. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass AT ST. ANSELM CATHOLIC CHURCH, 306 St. Mary St., Madisonville, LA 70447 on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 12:00 Noon. VISITATION WILL BE AT E.J. FIELDING FUNERAL HOME, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM. The Rosary will be said at 10:30 AM. Words of Remembrance will be at 11:00 AM.
