John Alvin Guzman was born on February 24, 1954, in Lubbock, TX. He grew up in Parlier, CA, and settled in Orange Cove, CA, with his family. John passed away peacefully at home in Orange Cove on February 20, 2017, surrounded by friends and family. Johnny was a truck driver and and hauled fruit all over the valley, as well as out of state. John was a joker with a warm sense of humor and we'll miss all the times he made us laugh. He cared deeply about his family and there is no end to the memories and love he leaves behind. He is survived by his wife Olivia; three children, Emily, Denise and A.J.; two grandchildren, Sophia and Bentley; sons-in-law, Greg and Mario; daughter-in-law Denise; as well as his five siblings, Ed, Carmen, Bonnie, Alice and Jr; and of course his four loyal pups. His presence will be missed by all of us here. A Celebration of Life will be held at Redeemer's Church, 819 Parlier Ave., Reedley, CA 93654, on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 12:00 noon.
