It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John McClain, born on December 25, 1954, and peacefully left this earth on August 12, 2024, in Huffman, Texas, United States. John was the beloved son of James Mickey McClain and Omie Inez Hammer. He leaves behind his loving partner, Penny McClain, and five cherished children: Kasey Swanson (spouse Marlon Swanson), Mary McClain, Johnny McClain (spouse Brandy McClain), Bradley McClain (spouse Stacy McClain), and Amanda Avalos (spouse Izzy Avalos).

John was a devoted family man and a proud grandfather to thirteen grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John battled Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Lung Cancer with courage and grace. Despite the challenges he faced, he remained strong and resilient, showing immense strength and bravery until the very end. His legacy will live on through the memories and love he shared with his family and friends.

May John McClain rest in peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
