We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of John Armes on January 20, 2025, in a tragic car crash. John was born on March 25, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois, to his loving parents Tommy Armes and Susan R Barnes. He married the love of his life, Lakeisha Armes, in 2001, and together they raised two wonderful children, Wesley Armes and Lakiea Armes.

John was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first. He was a graduate of Lincoln Park High School in 2001 and went on to attend The University of Chicago, where he graduated in 2021. John had a passion for playing basketball and cherished spending time with his loved ones.

John will be remembered for his infectious laughter, warm smile, and kind heart. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
