John Lacey II, 75, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed on August 29, 2023 at his home. John was born on March 22, 1948 in Newark, Ohio to the late Clifford Lacey and the late Doris (Moats) Lacey.

John was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a cab driver for Yellow Cab for many years. John enjoyed fishing, playing cards on the computer, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Jamie Linn (Phelps) Lacey; son, Richard lacey II, Robert Lacey, and Jackie Lacey. Grandchildren, Wyonna lacey, Jack Lacey III, Johnathan Lacey, Richard Lacey II, Dustin Lacey.

John was preceded in death by two grandsons ,Thomas N Christman III (Wyonna Lacey’s son) and Derrick Richard Lacey. (Richard Lacey I son)

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday August 30, 2023 at Cedar Hill Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance, holding a 21 gun salute.
