It is with heavy hearts from his father and siblings that we announce the passing of Joey Walters, who was born on April 18, 1988, in Charlotte , North Carolina. Joey passed away on June 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories.

Joey was the beloved child of John Chancelor Gravitte and Carolyn Walters. He was a devoted parent to his three children, Jeremiah, Tanner, and Chase. He was also survived by his siblings Britney, Morgan, Kayla and Tristin. Joey was a loving presence in our lives, always making us smile and laugh.

Known for his passion for working on cars. He was a definite prankster. There was never a time he couldn’t make his sisters laugh when needed.

Joey will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him especially his sweet grandma. May he rest in peace, forever cherished in our hearts.
