We are gathered here today to remember and celebrate the life of Joe Mendez, who passed away on January 24, 2025 in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Born on May 23, 1958, Joe was the beloved son of Jose Antonio Mendez and Elsie Pugh Concepcion.

In 2020, Joe married the love of his life, Irene Mendez, and together they raised a wonderful daughter named Marissa Mendez Lievano. Marissa studied at Papa Juan XXlll high school, graduating in 1976, and continued her studies at Barnes Business College.

Joe was a dedicated servant of the Jehovah was baptized organization, finding great joy in his faith. In his free time, he enjoyed playing the piano, drawing, and playing volleyball. His love for music and sports brought joy to all who knew him.

Joe Mendez will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering faith. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
