Joann WilsonLORE CITY: Joann Wilson, 76, passed away on January 1st, 2017 while in the care of the Countryview Assisted Living Facility in Lore City. She was born on September 15th, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to Robert and Julia (Adamik) McCullough of Byesville. She worked as an R.N., for both Dr. Spragg and Bethesda Hospital, until she retired in 1999. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, belonged to the Ladies Aid, and Bethesda Nurses Alumni. Joann was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Zanesville, the Women's Church Circle, and was an Amway representative. She loved to watch Ohio State Athletics, John Glenn Muskies football, and treasured her dogs.She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved nieces and nephews including, Paula Buco, Julie Buco, Jena Buco, Joanna Buco, Penny Buco, John Roe, and Timothy Roe. She also leaves to mourn a sister-in-law, Linda (James) Gibson of Mt. Vernon, and several great nieces and nephews. Joann is predeceased by her parents, her husband, J. Robert Wilson, whom she married Feb. 4th, 1962 and who passed away on March 13th, 1999, and her sisters, Judy (Peter) Buco, and Janice Roe.Services for Joann will be held at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Wednesday, January 4th, 2016; with friends and family welcome to attend calling hours from 12 Noon to 2PM. Services will start promptly at 2PM. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
