Joann J. Anderson RACINE – Joann J. (nee: Johnson) Anderson, 81, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on May 13, 1933, the daughter of the late Harold J. and Jennie (nee: Anderson) Johnson. Joann was a graduate of Washington Park High School. On August 22, 1953 Joann was united in marriage to John L. ‘Jack’ Anderson at Emmaus Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her trips to LasVegas and to Potawatomi; loved the outdoors, camping and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her nieces, great nieces and nephews. Surviving are nieces and nephews, Kathy (Joel) Gummeson of Belchertown, MA and Amy (Michael) Young of Racine; great nieces and nephew, Sarah Borchardt, Tia Young and Braydon Young all of Racine. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Jack on December 26, 2000; brothers, Warren Johnson and Kenneth Johnson; sisters, Marilyn Johnson and Doris Borchardt. Funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday before services from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to , 234 W.
