She was born on December 19, 1958, to her parents Cootsy Walker and Better Ates. Joan married her beloved husband, Jimmy Fisher, in 1976, and together they raised two children, Cassidy and Christopher.

Joan was a proud graduate of Reagan High School, class of 1976. She was known for her infectious laughter, love of gardening, and fantastic cooking skills. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and her family meant everything to her.

She is survived by her loving husband, children, and four adoring grandchildren. Joan will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
