Joan Irene Mclaughlin, 69, passed on May 20, 2022. She was born to Charles L Penhaligon and Nora C Penhaligon in Flint, Michigan on March 19, 1953.

She married Timothy Mclaughlin in 1973 and they lived together in Lake City, Florida. Together they raised 3 children Nicole (Robert Lamberson), Jason McLaughlin (Deliz Moranto), Andrea McLaughlin (Zachary Lowe). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Joan graduated from Northwestern High School in 1971 and received a degree from the Hurley School of Nursing in 1973.

Joan worked at Shands Lake Shore Hospital until he retired in 2020 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
