It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jimmy Tivis, who was born on May 29, 1942, in Fredericksburg City, Virginia, United States.

Jimmy lived a fulfilling life and leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Welch, and her beloved spouse, Darryl Dawson. He is also survived by his only granddaughter Miranda Welch, and only great granddaughter Madelyn Welch

Throughout his life, Jimmy worked tirelessly as a Farmer, where he made lasting impacts on those around him. He found joy in taking care of his animals and spending time with his family.

On November 28, 2025, Jimmy passed away due to a tragic brain aneurysm. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
