Jimmy Lawson Jr., of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away on September 5, 2024 at the age of 63. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on October 5, 1960, to his loving parents the late Jimmy Lawson Sr. and the late Haley Lawson. The late brother of Jeffrey Laswon.

Long Life Partner of, the late Janie Murphy, and her cherished children Kelli (spouse Robert) Breighner, and Kristin O'keefe. Loving Uncle Dexter Griffey, and several cherished cousins.

He will be remembered for his passion for boating, crabbing and fishing. Jimmy spent countless hours on the water pursuing his favorite hobbies. He was always quick with a joke and a smile, bringing light and laughter to those around him. A memorial will be held at Memorial Gardens in Bel Air at a later date for friends and family to gather.

Although Jimmy's time with us was too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Jimmy Lawson Jr.
