A Life Well Lived

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jimmy Coon, who left this world on January 20, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on April 5, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jimmy was the beloved son of Stan and Darlia Coon.

Jimmy was a devoted husband to Cheryel Coon, whom he married in 1946. Together, they raised a beautiful family of 10 Adopted children: Alex Benner with spouse Morgan Benner, Johnny Benner, Jack Benner, Blake Benner, Logan Secrest, Michael Secrest, Makyla Secrest, Debby Wipert with spouse Dinnis Wipert, Karen Benner, and Rachel Benner. His legacy lives on through his 4 grandchildren.

Jimmy spent many years working as a Truck Driver before retiring in 1975. He was a dedicated member of his church organization and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

When he wasn't busy with work or volunteering, Jimmy enjoyed spending his free time fishing and hunting. He had a passion for the great outdoors and loved to share his adventures with family and friends.

Jimmy Coon will be remembered for his kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Rest in peace, Jimmy. May you find eternal peace in the arms of the angels.
