We are saddened to announce the passing of Mrs Jimmie Ruth King, who left this world on May 29, 2024, at the age of 71. Jimmie was born on August 26, 1952, in Terrell County, Georgia to the late Zelma Ruth Whaley and Jimmy Lee Whaley.

Jimmie was a beloved spouse to JEFF KING SR for 43 wonderful years and a devoted father to 5 beautiful kids Althea Braddy(Reginald, Brandisha, Antawan), Jeff King Jr(Javoski,Kourtney, Treverious, Johnterrio,Lorenzo, Brianna, Antaza,Karlissa,Amarlie,Lil Jeff), Victoria King(Ju-Marcus), Nicholas King(Armani,Desire,Drevantez,Jaziman,La'Kinganae), and Justin King(December, London). And 3 add kids Amanda Taylor, Marvin jones, and Lavosky Johnson.Mrs Jimmie was a loving wife,sister,parent,grandparent and great grandparent, bringing joy and laughter to all that known her.

Jimmie attended Dougherty County School System and later went on to work as a cook for the school system and also was a caterer for 34 years, retiring in 2015. Their delicious meals brought joy to so many students and staff members over the years. Mrs Jimmie loved her sisters and brothers Marcus Whaley (Deceased), Loretta Thomas, Alfreda Whaley and McArthur Whaley as well as a host of cousins,nieces,nephews and friends.

Jimmie's kind heart, contagious laughter, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace. Momma you got your wings, You will always be in our hearts. 2 Corinthians 5:8 I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
