Coleman, Jessica M.Jessica M. Coleman, age 38, of Appleton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 1, 2017, the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born on August 14, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the daughter of Lyle Jr. and Joyce (Buff) Pingel. Shortly after birth, Jessie and her family moved to Appleton, Wisconsin. Jessie graduated from Appleton North High School in 1997, and was currently a Business Management student at FVTC. Jessie was a very hard-working young woman, and was employed by many restaurants and taverns in our area, but most would remember her from The Bar on Lynndale. She had an affinity for animals, rescuing several dogs and cats. She loved photography, running, and watching hockey. Since she seemed to be working constantly, many people didn't know that Jessie loved to travel. She had been in Italy twice, and she was currently planning a trip to Spain with her fiancé, Malcolm and his children. Jessie had an outgoing, optimistic, and honest spirit. She had a gift of walking into a room full of strangers, and walking out of that room with new friends. Jessie was a proud member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, and an avid fund-raiser for cervical cancer research, which took her mother in 2009.She will be sadly missed by her father, Lyle Jr. (Mary) Pingel, Green Bay; a brother, Joshua Pingel, Appleton; her fiancé, Malcolm Leeman; her step-children: Jaden and Riley Leeman; nieces and nephews: Dominic Pingel, Donte Morin, Trinity Hoffman, Braeden Olsen, Joshua Pingel Jr., Donavan Pingel, Jayvin Pingel; grandparents: Lyle and Etola Pingel, Waupaca; Alvena Buff, Reno, NV; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many great friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce; and grandfather, Roland Buff.A memorial service for Jessie will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
