We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jerry Gay Sr., born on October 2, 1955, who passed away on January 2, 2025. Jerry resided in Pontiac, Michigan, and was the beloved son of the late Dunbar and Alice Gay.
He is survived by his children, Sean Gay, Tyrone Gay, and Jonte Gay, as well as his late sons, Jerry Gay Jr. and Daniel Gay. Jerry also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren.
A graduate of Pontiac Central High School, Jerry went on to work at General Motors. In his free time, he enjoyed fixing cars, fishing, and assembling model cars, a passion that reflected his creativity and love for craftsmanship.
Jerry’s presence and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
