It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Lofton Sr., who was born on September 14, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan, United States. He peacefully left this world on November 11, 2024.

Jerry was the beloved son of Joseph Lofton and Jessie Dean Lofton. He was a devoted husband to Elaine Reid, with whom he shared many wonderful years of marriage since 1997. Together, they raised a beautiful family of nine children: Walter Reid with spouse Terra Reid, Henry, Carolyn, Ronita, Jessie, Jalisa, Jerry Jr., Joanne, and Josephine. His family brought him immense joy and he was a loving and dedicated father.

Jerry leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter to his ten grandchildren. They will always remember their grandfather fondly and carry his memory in their hearts forever.

Jerry was a hard worker and spent many years at Road Runner Janitorial Service. He took great pride in his work and was respected by his colleagues for his strong work ethic.

When he wasn't working, Jerry enjoyed spending time fishing and taking trips to the casino. These hobbies brought him peace and relaxation, and allowed him to unwind from the stresses of everyday life.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
