We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jerry Shivers, who was born on January 5, 1950, and passed away on February 5, 2025, in Collins, Mississippi, United States. He was the beloved son of Henry and Katherine Shivers and was married to Ann Shivers for 73 years.

Jerry is survived by his three children: Jerry (Rocky) Shivers Jr, John Shivers, and Memorie Crain; nine grandchildren: Casey Sullivan, Kristen Light, John Ronald Shivers, Alexis Shivers, Chloe Shivers, Colby Shivers, Mackenzie Womack, Zack Shivers, and Macey Crain; and two great grandchildren: Tinley Jordan and Haisley Jordan. He attended New Hebron Attendance High School and went on to work as a Crane Operator at Chevron. Jerry also proudly served in the Army.

Aside from his professional accomplishments, Jerry had a passion for fishing, watching football, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Jerry Shivers will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm at New Hebron Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Slater Cemetery.
