Jerry D. Worthington passed away peacefully on October 20, 2013 with family by his side at Providence Hospital in Everett, WA. He was born on February 2, 1970 to Harley and Dianne Worthington. Jerry was 43 years old. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Dianne; his grandparents and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his son, Joseph; father, Harley; stepmother, Ingrid; sister, Susan; brother, Randy; along with a myriad of extended family and friends. Jerry was a music fanatic, and enjoyed both listening and playing. He loved playing the guitar and could create songs straight from improv. He also enjoyed the outdoors and liked to take long walks with his son, Joseph. An outgoing personality, Jerry took joy in going out and meeting new people. He is commemorated by his many friends, both old and new. A very kindhearted and loving spirit, Jerry was known for being a friendly, accepting and thoughtful person. Harboring a warm and gracious essence, Jerry's friends and family were of his biggest priority, and he was appreciative of any good deeds that were sent his way. He is celebrated for his wonderful sense of humor, selfless character, and tremendous heart. He will be dearly missed by all whom had the pleasure to share a moment with him. Jerry was an IBEW Local #191 Union Electrician for 18 plus years. Although Jerry cannot be with us any longer, he will forever be in our hearts. Jerry will be laid to rest in the Family Plot at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Oak Harbor. There will be a Celebration of Life to be determined at a later date.
