It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my daddy Jerry Bruce Pollard
Jerry Pollard, a beloved member of the Idaho Falls community, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on February 27, 1943,
Jerry was born on February 27th 1943 to Lonnie and Velva Pollard in Hobart, OK. He was part Cherokee Indian. He served our country in the United States Army. Where he was awarded the Sharpshooter M-14 award. He served in Germany at the time of the Vietnam War was going on. Over the years he worked for the Boeing Co., Health Tech & O'Brien Water Ski's where he helped developed the bottom fin for the sailboard.
Jerry loved all creatures great and small making sure even the skunks had food. Jerry always knew how to put a smile on everyone face around him. His hobbies included driving his corvette, playing his guitar, shooting, fishing and utilizing his computer. He also enjoyed a nice glass of red wine or crown royal for his evenings. His favorite band was Righteous Brothers.
Jerry lived many places over the years Washington State, Florida, California and Idaho Falls, Idaho were he made his home.
He leaves behind his friends and loving caregivers Raleigh, Walter and Marcie of Idaho Falls Idaho, His sister Wanda Nations of Deer Park Washington, His daughter Lisa Ganterman of Post Falls Idaho, His 4 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren, His best friend and ex wife Mary of Spokane Washington, Terry Wade of Bellevue Washington and last but not least His beloved African Grey Parrot Reeba, Who will missed him terribly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Velva Pollard, His brother Glen Pollard and his nephew Mike Behrbaum
