Life is not easy already. So, many people are dying from guns from gang violence whether they from Ohio, Cali or other places. I'm grateful to had met her in my life. I have not seen you all in over 40 years. Then, life sends you to loose a sweet, loving person in the midst of it. My love and sympathy is with you all in this moment. Surely, God's hand is on her life and will continue to bless all those connected to her. Trust God, ask God for the rest of the family to thrive and live for a long time and remove all issues, problems and people that will cause any family or friends to shorten their life. Jerry McKenzie, a beloved Mother,Daughter ,cousin, Grandmother and Friend from Lorain community, passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on April 6, 1948, Jerry was known for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering dedication to helping others. she was a true pillar of the community, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Jerry will be remembered for her positive spirit, sense of humor, and zest for life. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Jerry McKenzie.Jerry was born in Dublin Georgia from Vernistine Guice/ Drain and Mathew Anderson(deceased). Jerry McKenzie grew up in Lorain and Graduated from Lorain High School,Jerry has 2 siblings Luis Austin Jr. (deceased) , Jaqueline Michael (Kevin Michael)
Jerry married Charles Author Jackson (Deceased) They had Three Children together Charles Maurice Jackson(son). Shadiye Jackson (daughter) , Idris Ali Jackson (son)Lori Javkson (wife) , Jerry married Victor McKenzie they had one child Yamini Kaye McKenzie (daughter) .Jerry has 13 Grandchildren, Tyleah Jackson, Briana Ruiz, Zakiyah Wesley, Isaiah Robinson, Machai Slaughter, Alina Jackson , Elijah McKenzie,Trinity Jackson, Landon Jackson Tabari Jackson , Tyrese, Callan Jackson, Nadia Jackson. 4 Great grand Children Zariah Ruiz, Cartier Ruiz, Ka’Mari Ruiz, Kylee Jerry has Neices and nephews Lestina Austin , Kristen Austin and Luis Austin 3rd Jerry was proceeded in death by her Gramdmother , Grandfather Odell Guyton , Brother Luis Austin , host of Great neices , Nephews and Cousin . Her best and favorite cousin Vivian Rush. Jerry worked US Steel, Lorain Board of Education . Jerry enjoyed seeing, cooking ,line dancing and helping her Family. She also loved her Aunts and Uncles who all spoiled her ,because she was the first baby,
