Jerome Johnson Sr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 17, 2024, in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. He was born on October 9, 1957, to Ernest Lee Johnson and Paula Johnson.

Jerome married the love of his life, Sarah Curtis-Johnson, in 2010 in which they shared three bonus kids Ernest Johnson II, Sonia Curtis and Taylor Curtis. Jerome was a loving and devoted father and grandfather to his eight grandchildren De'Chaun Boone, De'Quana Boone, Keira Johnson, Kimyanna Johnson, Charles Curtis Dakota Curtis, Sean Curtis, Stephenie Mack (Charles Mack).

Jerome attended Richmond Public Schools and graduated from high school in 1974. He went on to have a successful career as an entrepreneur, where his hard work and dedication were recognized by all who knew him.

Outside of work, Jerome had a passion for music and was a proud volunteer of the local marching band. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and creating lasting memories with them.

Jerome Johnson Sr. will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
