It is with profound sadness that we share that Jennie Piatti, 91, of Jackson, New Jersey, left us on December 17, 2020. Jennie was born on September 3rd, 1929 as the child of Mariano Shielsi and Angela Bruno, in Brooklyn, New York.

Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Piatti, as well as by her four sisters and two brothers. Jennie is survived by her son Al Piatti, his former spouse Lorraine Piatti, his girlfriend Sherry Wadman, and Jennie's grandchildren from Al's marriage, Dustin Piatti and Alicia Piatti. Jennie is additionally surived by her son Raymond Piatti, his wife Laure Piatti, Jennie's additional grandchildren Morgan Piatti and Monica Piatti, and her adoptive grandchild, Mia Spoonauer.

Mrs. Piatti told it exactly as it is and loved to be part of the conversation. She had an incredible laugh that joyously infected all who could hear it. Mrs. Piatti worked hard for all she had and continued to work into her eighties so that she could remain engaged with the friends she held dear. She loved her two sons, their partners, and her grandchildren very much, and they were for her the center of her adult life.

Jennie's life will be honored and remembered in a private family memorial service on Monday, December 21, 2020, at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River, NJ.
