Jeni “Gigi” Coffie, 71, was welcomed into Heaven on March 6, 2025, surrounded by family and wrapped in love. After a courageous battle, she was carried home by angels — her life a testament to strength, perseverance, and unshakable faith in God. She now rejoins her beloved husband, Will “Pappa” Coffie — her best friend, her prayer partner, and the love of her life. Together, they built a legacy of joy, laughter, and love that will echo for generations.
She leaves behind her children — Mark, Mary, and Ian — and their spouses who she welcomed as her own: Stephanie, Jena and Taylor. Her greatest joy was being “Gigi” to her grandchildren — Penelope, Winston, Scarlett, and Ophelia. She poured into them wisdom, stories, and the kind of love that never fades. Her memory will forever be a light in their hearts, and the wisdom she shared will continue to shape their lives, guiding them with grace and strength every step of the way.
She had a gift for making people feel seen, known, and deeply loved. Her joy was contagious. She could light up a room with her laugh and comfort your soul with a single hug.
Jeni’s joy was in laughter, gardening, delicious food, and heartfelt stories— but most of all, she loved being with her family. She believed in miracles, in redemption, and in the power of prayer. And now, she is healed and whole in the arms of Jesus.
Her legacy of love, faith, and family will be carried forward by all who were blessed to know her. Though we grieve deeply, we rejoice knowing she is dancing in glory, reunited with our beloved Pappa, and watching over us with the same love that defined her life.
A Memorial Mass will be held on March 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 10118 St. Stephen Circle, Riverview, FL 33569. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at 12:30 PM at The Barn at Winthrop, located at 11349 Bloomingdale Ave., Riverview, FL 33578.
