It is with a heavy heart I announce the passing of Jeffrey Felton, beloved son, father, and grandfather, passed away on November 6, 2025, in Miami, Florida. He was born on January 9, 1968, to Jeffrey Felton Jr and Loretta Powell.

Jeffrey is survived by his daughter Shamara Woods and his grandchild Franklin, along with two sisters, Marilyn and Marion, Brother and best friend, Ronald & Michael

Jeffrey was a man who lived with purpose, discipline, and an unshakable dedication to growth. He took great pride in his education and carried an insatiable passion for learning throughout his life. Always striving toward the next goal, he embraced every challenge with intention and curiosity.

His pursuit of knowledge led him to attend college in Williamstown, where he earned his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice—an accomplishment he cherished deeply. Jeffrey approached his studies not only with ambition, but with a genuine desire to understand, serve, and make a meaningful impact in the world around him.

Jeffrey will be remembered for his infectious laugh, kind heart, and adventurous spirit. He faced his battle with cancer with courage and grace, showing strength until the very end.

Though he may be gone, Jeffrey's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, dear friend, Dad.
