Jeannette Marie Boucher-Velez was born on July 13, 1956, in Franklin, Indiana. She passed on February 5, 2025, at Connersville, Indiana, at the age of 68. She was being cared for in the home of her brother Dan, he & his wife were at her side when the angel of death visited.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents: Harry L. & Margery A. Houser-Boucher, her grandparents: Harry W. & Gladys “Mae” Newkirk-Boucher, George & Zeredia "Bobbie" Herring-Houser.

Jeanette was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She had a passion for gardening and spending time outdoors, finding peace and solace in nature. Jeannette will be remembered for her warm smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering positivity. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her: She loved reading her Bible & was happiest when surrounded by her family.

Jeannette is survived by 6 children: Tammy (1) Boucher, Darrell (Sharon) Williams, Alesha (Donald) Murry, Tammy (2) Williams, Christopher Lazare & Cecil Boucher. 17 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren.

Jeannette is also survived by 4 brothers: Daniel E. (Carolyn) Boucher, Rev. Paul A. (Cindy) Boucher, David A. (Sandy) Boucher, Jeffery D (Hannah) Boucher. She is also survived by 1 sister: Deborah K. Boucher-Wheeler.
