STAUBACHJeanne E., died on May 23, 2017. She was 89 years old. Jeanne was born on October 30, 1927, to Anna and Lawrence Budde of Fort Thomas, KY where she spent her childhood. On April 16, 1947 while at dance class she met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Staubach. They were married on September 11, 1948 at St Thomas in Fort Thomas, KY and set up housekeeping in Cincinnati, OH. Jeanne put her talents as an excellent seamstress, cook and financial budget wizard to good use in the raising of their large family. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother who always placed her family's needs above her own. To her children, she instilled her love of reading and learning new things. After raising their family, Bob and Jeanne spent 28 good years in Florida enjoying retirement and traveling throughout the United States and other continents. She always made time to enjoy her grandchildren and assist her family/friends. Jeanne is survived by her loving husband Bob; 7 children: Kathy (Jeff) Robison of Vonore, TN; Carol Staubach of Media, PA; Christine (John) Matacic of Liberty Township, OH; Rick (Kathy) Staubach of Cincinnati, OH; Anita (Gary Vogt) Staubach of Cincinnati, OH; Tony (Debbie) Staubach of Milford, OH and Paul (Laura) Staubach of Cincinnati, OH; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by their daughter Mary Melinda Staubach. The memorial service will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Otterbein Chapel, 554 N State Rd, Route 741, Lebanon, OH 45036 followed by a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Otterbein Hospice ( www.otterbein.org/hospice) or a that feeds needy children.
