HAMILTON — Jean L. Warstler, age 79, of Hamilton passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Lakeland Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Angola. Mrs. Warstler was born on July 19, 1936, in Fremont, Ohio. She was raised by her parents, Ermil and Ruth (Kerns) Moyer. She married Earl Warstler on April 10, 1955, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2014. Mrs. Warstler worked as a nurse's aide at DeKalb Memorial Hospital for 10 years. She then worked as a certified nursing assistant at Laurels of DeKalb Nursing Home in Butler for 15 years, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed playing organ music for her family. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Sharon Warstler of Butler, Doug and Tammy Warstler of Waterloo and Jeff and April Warstler of Burbank, California; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Lewis Erwin of Pleasant Lake; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Steven and Morgan Warstler, Timothy and Alyssa Warstler, Christi and Shawn McCormick, Kyle Warstler, Cole Sperry, Alyssa Erwin and Nathan Erwin; a stepgrandson, Nathan Henson; and four great-grandchildren, Natalee Warstler, Jake Warstler, Madalynn Warstler and Lorelai McCormick. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; and a stepgrandson, Nick Henson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St. in Waterloo. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016, from 2-5 p.m. at Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Waterloo. Pastor Scott Taylor will officiate.
