It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Moultrie, a beloved member of the Norfolk, Virginia community. She was born on December 30, 1949 and sadly passed away on May 6, 2023.

Those who knew Jean will remember her contagious laughter and warm personality. She always had a smile on her face and a joke at the ready. Her sense of humor could brighten anyone's day.

Jean was an animal lover and had a particular fondness for cats. In fact, she was known to feed every stray she came across and had a whole herd of fur babies at home.

She was also an avid gardener and turned her backyard into a beautiful oasis. Her neighbors often marveled at her green thumb and would frequently ask for her advice on their own gardens.

Jean will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community. Her infectious spirit and generous heart will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Jean. We know you're up in heaven making all the angels laugh.
