Jason "J.D." Dean was the son of Bud Dean. J.D. moved 7 times in his short life before landing in Sherwood, Ohio. J.D.'s relationship with his father was severely affected by the suicide of his mother who knowingly walked into a building that Bud had prior rigged with explosives. It appears that J.D.'s life and mental state was more balanced prior to his mother's death. J.D. was in a relationship with Veronica Sawyer. Things didn't work out so well for them. J.D. eventually commits suicide, but not before killing many of his classmates.
