We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Jason Kolath, who was born on March 13, 2002, in Joplin, Missouri, United States. He tragically left this world on February 19, 2025, at the young age of 22.

Jason was the loving son of Jack and Melissa Kolath. He had no children of his own but was cherished by his family and friends. Jason dedicated his time and energy to his work at Chisholm Mines, where he was a valued employee. He had just moved back to Springfield two weeks ago to be with family.

Outside of work, Jason had a passion for gaming and enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle. He was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, and adventurous spirit.

Tragically, Jason's life was cut short due to a car wreck. His untimely passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

May he rest in peace and may his memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

He leaves behind his 2 brothers Jacob Kolath Bolivar Mo, Tyler Kolath Bolivar Mo. His 3 sisters Rebecca Kolath Virginia Mn, Bailey Douglas Humansville Mo, and Amy Kolath Bolivar Mo. His mother Melissa Kolath Humansville Mo and also his father Jack Kolath Virginia Mn.

The family is having him cremated and they will hold a celebration of life service for him in Duluth Mn at Split Rock lighthouse on March 13th 2025 for all who can attend.
