Janet Marie Rittler (Lampe) , age 81, passed away peacefully
June 21, 1922 due to a long decline in health and congestive heart failure. She
was born March 10, 1941 in Baltimore to Ross and Marie Lampe . She attended College in Towson, where
she got her degree in teaching . This is where she met her husband , Charles
Rittler . They were married for over 50
years, and he preceded her in death in 2013. 

Janet loved to travel and to garden. She spent many years
camping with her family, and then in her later years traveling with her husband
and children/grandchildren. She was an
avid gardener, and would find peace working with her plants. 

Her greatest passion was being “grammy” to her grandchildren.
She lovingly devoted her time and love to nurturing her beloved granddaughters
.  

Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse,
Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving
one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” 

Janet is survived by her
brother Donald , her two children Cindy and Scott, her son in law Steve, and
her grandchildren : Sarah, Sophie, Finley and Lily. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
