OREGON - On Tuesday April 26, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer, Jane OBrien passed away peacefully into the everlasting presence of God with her family by her side. She was born on June 26, 1955, daughter of the late Ernst and Joyce (Nee: Schroeder) Timmel. Jane was a proud member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, a humble servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a well-respected nurse, an adored mother, and loyal friend. Jane passionately cared for patients in the emergency department at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - All Saints (formerly St. Marys Medical Center) for over 40 years. She was a hardworking, appreciative and content woman that showed Christs love in everything she did. Jane cherished every opportunity to visit with family and friends, and be a mother to her two boys. The tremendous outpouring of support she received over the last eight months is a testimony to the many lives she has touched over the years. Her contagious smile and never-ending love for people will be missed. Jane leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Kyle (Laura) OBrien of Oregon, WI, Michael (fiancé: Hannah Grindle) OBrien of Chicago, IL; sister, Gail (Larry) Bellman of Hartland, WI; brothers, Randy (Cindy) Timmel of Sun Prairie, WI, Tom (Pam) Timmel of Watertown, WI; dear friends, Dan and Sharon Wrensch of Racine, WI, Dr. Kevin and Terri Benson of Phoenix, AZ; many other nieces, nephews, and other members of the Timmel and OBrien families. In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by her dear friend and co-worker, Judith Judy Wasik. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016, 2:00pm until 5:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, Racine, WI, 53403. A celebration of Janes life will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016, 11:00am, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 2921 Olive Street, Racine, WI, 53403.
