James (Jamie) Stanley passed away unexpectedly at home on September 12, 2017 surrounded by family.
Jamie was born on November 12, 1972 to James and Marcia (Frye) Stanley in Vallejo, CA. Jamie moved to Madison, WI in 1981 with his mother and brothers.
Jamie excelled at physical sports throughout his lifetime. From skateboarding where he was sponsored by Flying Fish, to football with the North Side Cardinals and Cambridge High School, to baseball with the East Madison Little League.
Jamie met his wife Tamara (Kendall) in the 4th trade at Mendota Elementary. They were united in marriage on September 22, 2012.
Jamie enjoyed being outside, working on cars and being surrounded by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Tamara, his children Kyler and Noah Derrick and Kole Soule, the absolute lights of his life his grandsons Elijah Derrick and Marcus Derrick-Perkins, his brothers Daniel (Anna) Arndt, and Jason (Rebekah) Johnson.
Jamie is further survived by his brother in law, Thomas Kendall, parents in law Kenneth and Gayle Kendall, his grandfather Jesse, and several nieces and nephews.
A special mention to his "second family" Wanda (Drause) Verdon, Christopher (Erin) Verdon, Beret Otero, Jason, Joshua and Jeremiah Villarreal and Christian Mead.
Jamie was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessee Lynne, and his parents James Stanley and Marcia (Frye) Murray.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
