After many health issues, James passed away with his daughter by his side on July 16, 2023. He was a devoted husband to Shirley Martin for over 56 years. Loving father to Susan (Greg) and Denise (Ron) and adoring grandmother to Michael (Holly), Jessica (Danica), and Kevin (Natalie). Son of Herbert and Vera MacBride. Best friend and sister to Patricia (Albert), and brother Bruce (Jane). Uncle to many nieces and nephews and second father/ uncle to Christine and Karen. He will also be known for his love of judo in his younger years, his love of family, passion for movies and tv series and kind heart. He will join hus beloved wife, sister and brother in heaven along with his parents and several other family members. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched and his legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren. Rest peacefully dear James, you are now the wind beneath our wings. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
