He is survived by his wife of 30 years Alora Claytor, his children Andre Julian Claytor, Ashleigh Marie Claytor, and Seneca Cottom step children Paige Chatman, Alora Vitalis and Chantal Cox, loving niece Terry L. Claytor, beloved cousins Veronica Nannette White, Donna King and Michelle King and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and his Buffalo Soldier Calvary James was a star in his community always being there for others,He was well loved by his family and friends,james enjoyed long fishing trips with his grandchildren,His favorite movies where Fast and furious, Men in black,and Hancock,James also was a declorated soilder who gave this nation 40 years of service,james was a pillar in his community he donated to homeless shelter,contributed to back to school drives for the youth and built playgrounds for inner city kids family
james was predeceased by his father William Henry James, mother Agnes Marie Claytor, brother and sisters, William Henry Claytor, Jr., Beryl Jean Rhodes, Vivienne Howard, and Cheryl Williams.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Febuary 17, 2020, 11:00AM at Karrl n flag memorial home,2400 madison street palatka,Florida 32210
Visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home.
