James Johnson Sr. , 85, of Haines City, Florida, passed away on June 17, 2025. He was born on March 5, 1940, and lived a full and meaningful life. James is survived by his wife, Mary, and their children: Susan (David) and James Jr . He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren James Johnson III, Crystal Harris and Kiera Smith and 2 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth, and his sister, Veronica. James was known for his kind and gentle demeanor, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a love for nature and spent many hours tending to his garden, finding solace in the beauty of the outdoors. James was a dedicated friend and neighbor, always ready with a smile and a kind word. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
