James "Jim" Howard Savage, age 64, of Surfside Beach, TX, passed away on Friday, September 03, 2016. Jim was born on January 29, 1952 in Gloversville, NY to Gerald L. Savage and Gretchen Van Avery Savage. He was proceeded in death by his father, Gerald L. Savage. He is survived by his wife, Debra Campbell Savage; brother, John Savage and wife, Shannon Savage; and mother, Gretchen Van Avery Savage. He is also survived by step son, Austin Campbell and wife, Kathy Campbell; step daughter, Kira Campbell; grandchildren, Dylan Campbell, Seth Stevens, Amber Stevens, Zoey Campbell, Kalli Watson; many nieces and nephews, and best friend, Karen Summers. Jim attended Schalmont High School, where he was Senior Class President. He worked as a pipefitter and traveled the world working early in life. Jim eventually settled in Surfside Beach, TX where he met his wife and many friends. He enjoyed watching sports, reading, listening to music, and especially spending time with his grand kids.
