James Fells, a beloved member of the Conway, Arkansas community, passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 70. Born on October 16, 1953, James will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering sense of humor. He was known for his love of driving, watching tv, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. James touched the lives of many with his gentle spirit and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call him a friend. James was preceded in death by his parents (Jimmy & Mollie Fells) and three sisters (Beth Fells, Jannett Fells-Lewis & Mae Helen Fells-Dodds). On Saturday October 28, 1989, James united in holy matrimony with the love of his life Carolyn Harrell. With this union two children were born. James leaves to cherish his memory his amazing wife Carolyn Fells, his two sons Roderick Fells (Sacha) of Alexander, AR and Deondrick (Breonna) of Conway, AR. Six grandchildren: Constance, Malachi, DeAsia, Zachary, Bryson and Chandler. One great grandchild: Oaklynn. James also leaves behind four brothers: Fred Fells of Milwaukee, WI, LeVell Fells of Pine Bluff, AR, Tommy Fells(Lisa) of Murfreesboro, TN, Leonard Fells of Pine Bluff, AR and four sisters: Marsha Fells of Texarkana, TX, JoAnn Daniels(Fred) of Monticello, Angela Fells of Murfreesboro, TN and Shawn Fells of Conway, AR.
