James E. McMullen III at age 64, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 at home in Yuma, AZ. He was born on March 29, 1947 in Macon, Georgia.James served in the U.S. Army from June 1967 to October 1979. James later worked for Bell Technical Corporation, Southern Pacific Communications Corporation, at U.S Civil Services and the Department of Army. He was a Cub Scout / Boy Scout and also served as the secretary of Yuma Territorial Wild West Show. James gained 19 years of experience working in the electrical and electronics field. James enjoyed U.S history and The Constitution of the United States.James is survived by his wife Geraldine McMullen; sons, James E. (Natasha) McMullen IV, Ryan (Theresa) McMullen all of Yuma, AZ; mother, Theresa McMullen of Seaford, Delaware; sisters, Karen (Frank) Caldro and Helen (Gary) Brunk, and brother: Terrance (Stephanie) McMullen; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.James was preceded in death by his daughter Christine McMullen.Memorial services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00a.m. Military Honors will follow outside of the church at 11:45a.m. Pastor Harmon will be officiating.
