James was a loving and devoted spouse to Maya Ruffin, having been married since the year 18. Together, they created a beautiful family that included three children: Jamesia Ruffin, LaKeisha Vanzant, and an unnamed child. With immense pride, James was not only a dedicated father but also a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren, whose names shall remain unspoken.
His unwavering dedication and service in the United States Army earned James the rank of Sergeant. He bravely served his country, showing unwavering commitment to protecting and serving others.
