James Beal Finch, age 77, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Nolan Cemetery with Dale Finch officiating. Burial will follow.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 29,

2016 from 8:00 - 9:00 A.M.,

Beal and his twin brother, Larry Neal were born on January 23, 1939 in Dora, Texas to Norman Luther and Ruth Olivia (Lucas) Finch. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a banker for fourteen years, a general contractor and at the time of his death he worked as a craftsman for Fort Bend County School System. He never met a stranger. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

He is survived by two brothers, Dale Finch and wife Mary of Sweetwater, Texas, and Arnold Finch of Richmond, Texas, and sister, Mary Jane Wickersham and husband David of Allen, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Luther and Ruth Olivia Finch, and twin brother, Larry Neal Finch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lamar Street Baptist Church,

513 Lamar, Sweetwater, Texas 79556.
