James Addis, a beloved resident of Lavonia, Georgia, passed away on October 7, 2025. He was born on April 17, 1956, in Lavonia, Georgia. James is survived by his partner, Elizabeth Addis, and their two children, Dorothy Smith and Kayla Addis.

James attended Stephens County High School and went on to build a successful career in carpentry. He was a loving father, a devoted partner, and a proud grandfather to four grandchildren.

James will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his unwavering dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
