  • A life well lived

    On January 22, 2025, the world lost a true hero with the passing of James Williams. Born on April 30, 1960, in Clarkedale Ar, James was the beloved son of Willie Williams Sr and Mariah Estella Williams. To this union there were 12 children.

    James is perceeded in death by Willie Williams Sr, Mariah Estella Williams, Walter Williams, Otha Williams, Catherine Kyle, Estella Williams and Irene Williams.

    He leaves to mourn Dorothy Jackson West Memphis, AR., Fannie Williams Chicago, IL., Cleola Jeffries Memphis TN., Joe Williams Chicago IL., Willie Williams Memphis TN. and Babylonia Williams-Green West Memphis, AR.

    James had a remarkable life filled with adventure and honor. After graduating from Elkhart Central High School in 1979, he bravely served in the Infantry as a Staff Sergeant in the 9TH Inf 502Nd (Manchu) unit for 13 years. His dedication and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

    Although James had no children of his own, he leaves behind a legacy of bravery and service that will live on forever. In addition to his military service, James had a zest for life that was truly infectious. He enjoyed collecting cars and traveling to new and exciting places.

    James will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and fellow servicemen. Rest in peace, king James Williams, your courage and spirit will never be forgotten.
